These Zoom drop-in sessions and workshops are open to all staff at the University of Auckland.
Canvas support
Canvas drop-in sessions for all staff will recommence from 16 January 2023. This year we will use Microsoft Teams instead of Zoom. A calendar of sessions and the links to the MS Teams sessions is advertised on the Canvas Blog.
Three topics ‘kick off’ these sessions:
- the basics
- group work / peer review
- digital assessments
Canvas support is also available to staff on request.
Panopto Video – Drop-in sessions for 2022 have ended, however the Zoom sessions were recorded.
- Recordings from Semester One are also available.
- One-to one Panopto support is available by available by request.
Inspera Online Assessments – drop-in sessions for staff are advertised via the Inspera support page on the Staff Intranet.
Having trouble joining a Teams session?
If you haven’t already done so, please download and install the MS Teams app to your device. Follow the instructions for staff to install the software on:
- Install MS Teams for Windows
- Install MS Teams for Mac
- Install MS Teams for Linux
- Install MS Teams for iPhone
- Install MS Teams for Android
Following a link to a Teams meeting will open your browser. The browser will ask you if you would like to join the Teams meeting. Clicking this will launch the meeting in the Teams app.
